I was trying to get a feel for how the app works so think there should be the ability to try the app with dummy devices to see how the app works in a particular situation
I was advised that there isn’t anything at the moment and I find the online videos wanting and there is no online manual

Being able to try before buy would be a great advantage

I agree absolutely. These days folk expect a demo app to get a feel for how it works and what its limitation are. Having one would surely result in a higher sales conversion rate.
