UFH Pump Delay ON / OFF
Just commissioned my UFH-8 controller and the pump starts straight away when called for by my NeoUltra ie before the thermal actuator (TA230) are opened, so the pump is running against a closed actuator/ port. Obviously when the actuators are open normal system resumes but given they take a time to open delaying the pump I believe would be a better option. The same could be said when the system is set to OFF, the pumps stops immediately and the actuators follow to CLOSE the valve ports after a time

PaulThis (pump delay) plus boiler delay on the UH8 would be very useful to avoid pumping against closed valves, initial boiler cycling, and (in my case) overheat stat tripping because the actuators have not opened to mix enough cool water with hot on the injection manifold.
The UH6 supports these delays and I have ordered one to replace the UH8 I have. Apparently the UH8-RF supports delayed output too. But seems a glaring omission from the UH8. -

HorstIs there any update on pump and boiler delay for non-wireless 8-port wiring centres?

Tony MiltonLK controllers have a 3-minute delay to allow the valves to open, adding a delay will stop calls to boiler engineers when boilers detect a water flow problem because of this.
