Signal boost/extend via Ethernet or Wifi

I have two Neostats used for switching which mesh at times, however recently they just will not mesh (even though one is in line of site of a meshed unit with nothing in the way). If I move either unit to a house position both mesh immediately
I have tried putting a NeoPlug on an extension lead, and the plug meshes, nearly all of the way to the unmeshed neostat (however the neostat still failed to mesh)
If there was a device we could plug into the local LAN (other than another HUB) to extend the mesh network via the LAN it would help remove any building limitations
