Wired Air Sensor
To get over the disadvantages of the current wireless air sensor which only reads every 5 minutes and to 0.5 degree accuracy and will not join the MESH. Could a Air sensor which you can plug into a wall socket be designed which will read every 10 seconds like the Neo Stat and to within 0.1 degree C accuracy. As well as participate in the MESH.

N PritchardI agree, Obviously the current wireless Wireless Air sensors and neoAir Smart Thermostats are also limited by their battery life. If these devices could be powered by a 5V USB-C cable either from an adaptor or USB outlet on a mains socket their use would be significantly enhanced.
Better still could the neoPlug be enhaced to provide remote and humidity readings with a small temp display ? Or a new product that size wise is in between the current NeoAir and Wireless Air but is 5V powered and has a smaller display and functionality just to read remote temp and humidity? Doesnt need to be back lit, but on 5V it could. -

Paul HA 5v USB powered one would be great. It would also be good if it is possible to connect a remote temperature sensor that would allow outside temperatures to be read … would need an extended temperature range to do this of course. My hope (please Heatmiser) would be that this new temperature sensor could be used as the external temperature sensor for weather compensation if it did, then I would certainly buy one.
