Greater range for Optimum Start
Optimum Start allows you to set a time up to 5 hours ahead. This is fine for my requirements for most of the thermostats, but there is one that would benefit from a longer time when it is cold.
To have a 5 hour limit seems somewhat arbitrary. The thermostats learn how long it takes to raise the temperature by one degree and I think the maximum is 90 mins. That means a 5 hour optimisation will only allow for just over 3.3C of heating before the time due if the room is large and the heating not as powerful as you would like.
Please can this limit be raised. 12 hours would be good. I cannot see any disadvantages to this and it would help me. Thank you.

Neil b.This is an issue with I’ve run into recently too.

NickkkThis feature would be very useful. We use heatmiser kit in church with underfloor heating. At the weekend, it took 9 hours to raise the temperature by 4 degrees. OK, due to Covid-19, the building is not used during the week at the moment, so we are heating from a set back temperature of 13C. But allowing optimum start to be set for longer would certainly make for efficiencies in running the system. Ideally more than 12 hours. This should be easy to implement, would make life simpler, save money, and cut CO2 emissions!
