The ability to export data from all Stats to a CSV file is extremely useful. However the current format of exporting data at 1 minute intervals and grouping all the Stats by Date/Time in a single file is problematic for plotting graphs.

May I suggest:

1) A choice of intervals in the exported file - say from 1 - 60 minutes (I find data every 10 minutes more than adequate).

2) Grouping the data by Stat - either as a single file or as separate files for each Stat. Although this is easily overcome by Sorting the data in a single file by Stat and Date/Time.

I'm currently using NeoStat V1's with floor probes on, one attached to the return DHW pipe to control the pump and another monitoring the thermal store to control the gas boiler, this gives the option for different running temperatures at different times of day along with remote App monitoring. The issue is that they aren't designed for this and the temperature for the floor temp is capped at 45C. Could a dedicated Pipe/Tank version be considered that works in a similar way to a conventional mechanical stat with options for switching on temp rise and fall, this would open up further uses, a two probe version could monitor flow and return on say a boiler for example as well.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your reply.

We have infra red panels in the wall and it would be really good to have a PIR activated option as well as the normal timer and thermostat controls. We have a mobile thermostat square and it doesn?t seem such a stretch to make something similar that is not triggered by temperature but motion.

We actually already have a PIR in the bathroom which turns on an infra red mirror with built in lights, and if that could trigger a heatmiser widget that talks to Heatmiser Neo, that may be a workaround. Any thoughts?

Either way could I request that this is put on your product development list as I?m sure that many would want this further control on their heating outputs.

Kind regards
James..

When supporting many neo installations all in one app, switching away from the app immediately logs the user out of the hub being worked on.
Then every time when switching back to the app, you have to log into the hub you were working on, and navigate back to whatever screen you were in.
This is very time consuming.
Can the neo app be updated not to log the user out when switching away but to stay in whatever screen the user is currently working in.
Perhaps an optional timeout parameter could be put in the app (globally for the user account, not per device or hub), so the user can set when the app logs the user out. Eg from never log out to a number of minutes, hours or days.

If this were implemented it would be quick to initiate Hold for a quick burst of heat by just pushing "Done" without even looking at the values.

Please enable the grouping of neo thermostats in to master/slaves whereby the temperature measurement is either

a) averaged across multiple neo thermostats in the group
b) taken from the master neo thermostat in the group.

This is required where multiple thermostats are installed within a large open plan area controlling multiple electric heaters. This should then enable the space to be heated more efficiently instead of each part of the area being controlled independently. Currently I am finding that certain sections of the open plan area are heating when other areas haven't reached the low setpoint for switching on.

I tried purchasing the wireless air sensors in the hope of pairing to multiple neo stats , but unfortunately this isn't possible .

Additionally, if any temperature adjustments on a master/slave thermostat can be repeated across all master/slave devices in the group, that would be beneficial, but less critical than having a common temperature measurement.

Thank you.

I'd be willing to bet that 99% of your customers don't use the holiday option or the timer option and just use the app, which is simple to use. Don't forget also that a large number of your users did not grow up with computers so don't have the automatic following of the logic patterns of a younger person and they are nervous of fiddling with such a complex setup. I dread to think what's going to happen when I'm 95 and suffering from dementia. I would happily throw away all the irritatingly complex neoStat 2s and replace them with a base model that just shows the temperature and allows you to make a temporary change. I am proposing to install and Chilled Water Heat Exchange using a diverter on the flow and return connected to the UF Manifold. This would permit me in the summer months to turn off the boiler to the UF system by the diverter and use the Chilled Water Heat Exchange to chill the water before circulating round the underfloor heating pipework.

I understand this is far more efficient than air conditioning and is ideal for the UK Climate.

I therefore request the firmware/software for the Heatmiser system (UH8 and NeoStat V2) be updated to allow to invert the heating controls to permit cooling controls (i.e. when temp is exceeded in a room, call for cooling by opening up actuator).
